Same tool, more uses, better feed yields

Words: Arxada
Cyhella, containing 250g/L lambda-cyhalothrin in the form of capsule suspension, is a must have product in the spray shed.

That’s even more the case now with its additional crop claims.

If we have learned anything from the previous seasons, it’s that plagues of pests are lying in wait to eat or completely wipe out your customers’ new crops, especially the likes of greasy cutworm – and the populations are continuing to build.

Arxada understands the need to protect these crops and how important they are to farmers’ systems.

In addition to the products’ existing extensive label, covering forage brassicas and clovers to name a few, Arxada’s local dedicated field science, regulatory and commercial teams, have now been able to extend the use of Cyhella for the control of these pests in forage herbs, plantain and plantain/clover swards, and kumara.

Cyhella has the edge on competitor products based on the same active ingredient, as it is manufactured in New Plymouth with Arxada’s in-line Encaps technology.

This innovative technology is a micro-encapsulation process where the molecule is encased in a capsule, for uniform delivery.

This enhances user safety, aids crop safety, provides good tank mix compatibility and shelf stability, without compromising field efficacy.

With a label rate of 40 ml per ha for most crops, Cyhella delivers quick knockdown of pests, but also provides excellent residual activity.

The contact mode of action this active delivers means the insects are affected whether the pest is sprayed directly, ingests the treated crop or encounters the applied product.

Cyhella is available in 200ml, 1L and now 5L pack sizes, so there is a container suitable for all farm sizes and purposes.

In addition, Cyhella is also suitable for public health situations, for the control of ants, cockroaches, spiders and other unwanted pests.

It is also registered for use in amenity turf, where pests may be causing damage.
